Attends

Yesterday, the weather was very hot - about 33 degree C. However, I put on a Tena Maxi and went shopping.

I bought the Japanese Attends, HK$102 for 15 M size disposable diapers.

The outer cover is cloth like and the tape is "magic tape" which are not my favorites. The magic tape makes loud noise when un-tapping and the cloth like outer cover is not like traditional baby diaper :(

There are two features:

1. High Stand up leg gathers, the height is about 5 cm !!! I do think this can reduce the chance of leak because of fast peeing.

2. There is a pocket at the back of the inner diaper, you can find out what I am talking about from the back of the package. I have not take a photo about it this time, may be next post.

The package of this pack of Attends is quite large. At the beginning, I decided to put the diapers one by one into my backpack; fortunately, I can put the whole pack of diaper into my backpack with no more room.

Although the weater was hot, the Tena Maxi did not make me feel uncomfortable; however, I only used half of it in about 4 hours. Because the Tena Maxi is too thick / obvious, I put it off when I back home.

Now, I am wearing a Attends, it is soft and thin which is not my cup of tea. At this moment, I have about 20 MoliCare Extra, 1 MoliCare Super, 1 Pearl's, 1 Tena Belted, 12 Attends in stock. But I want Tena Maxi the most.

Buy and Bring diaper home

There are many diaper lovers or adult babies do not have the confidence to buy diapers. If you are one of them, read the followings:

Before buying / bringing diaper home, you should find a place for storing the diapers. Besides the place should be secret, the place should be clean. Moreover, I would recommend using a air-tight box or air-tight plastic bag to keep your diapers.

Then you have to prepare a big bag / backpack and use it daily. The bag / backpack should have a flat bottom for better storing a pack of diaper. you can make sure the bag / backpack can be closed normally by putting two / three shoe boxes inside the bag / backpack.
Remember, use the bag / backpack daily with many things in it, e.g. books, in order to make your parents get used to it.

At the same time, you can search the place where you can get the diaper you want. The places have to be far from your home, friends; therefore, residential areas without someone you know are the first choice, shopping malls far from your living circle are second.
I had an experience of meeting someone I knew when I was in other country's shopping area. Therefore, residential areas are the best !

Choose the best time to buy can soothe your nervousness. According to my experience, rainy day is the best, during office hours is second choice, in the morning is third. Most people do not shop at these time, so, you can shop "privately".

On the other hand, you can write down the brand names and size of the diaper on a sheet of paper. If someone ask what you want, just give the paper to them. This looks like you just buy diaper for others.

Remember, buying diapers is legal, do not walk around and pick up the diaper like a thief. Pick a pack of diaper you want, walk to the cashier and pay for it. For saving time, prepare some cash with suitable amount. You will not want to wait for a change because a US$100 note.

After buying, leave the shop casually, then put the diaper into your bag / backpack and go home. Do not put the diaper into the bag at once, there is no one bring his / her own bag to buy diapers !!!

If the pack of diaper is too large to put into the bag because of your wrong estimation. Open the pack of diaper and put the diapers as many as possible into the bag and throw away the rest. Try buying small pack of diaper at the first time. This can make sure you can put the whole pack of diaper into your bag and all diapers can be stored within your secret place at home.

Practise makes perfect, at last, you can choose diapers like choosing a cloth inside a shop :P

Colored Adult Disposable Diaper

MoliCare is my favorite Adult Disposable Diaper. Addition to the absorbency, plastic outer cover, best ventilation, the colored outer cover is very attractive !

The purple diaper is 08' MoliCare Super which is night use and the blue diaper is 09' MoliCare Extra which is day use.

However, I found that the absorbency of the MoliCare Extra is not too bad. That why I always say : Test yourself and find out which diaper fits you most !

Diaper on sofa

This is the first time I took a photo on sofa, the diaper is Prevail :P

MoliCare Extra leak :P

I peed too much into the MoliCare Extra this morning after drinking about 4 cups of coffee, coke and water; therefore, the MoliCare Extra leaked between my legs :P

You can see some parts of the wetness indicator (the words in the central column of the diaper) diappeared. The upper part is the back part of the diaper which is still dry.

This is quite normal that a diaper leaks before it is completely soaked especially when you are sitting on a chair. This is because the pee cannot go up to the back and front part of the diaper under pressure.

If you pee slowly and wait for longer, the pee can go around the whole absorbent; however, it is not practical for real users.

Therefore, after 2 pee in public, change the diaper as soon as possible if you are real users of diapers. For DLs, let it goes and wet the pants may be fun !!!

MoliCare Extra Air Active 2

I tried the MoliCare Extra tomorrow, I worn the diaper for about 10 hrs and peed as will - more than 3 times.

The leak proof is very good with good ventilation. I did not feel any moisture on the outer plastic cover as the Tena did.

The absorbency of MoliCare Extra is very good, too. In 10 hrs, I drank and peed a lot; however, less than 90% of the diaper was soaked.

Moreover, the soaked MoliCare Extra did not thicken so much, this is a great news for real users.

I love MoliCare so much, except the Un-Refastenable Tapes and the Big Big Package !

MoliCare Extra becomes my 5th favorite because Tena, Dr.P have a smaller packages and MoliCare Super is thicker :)
